    If you want authentic local cuisine, this is it.

    Alicia's typifies good quality Mexican and Tex-Mex in the Rio-Grande Valley. The food is generously proportioned, and very tasty. The service is prompt and friendly. The prices are excellent.

    Their breakfasts are excellent, but my favorites are their lunch specials. For $5, they will serve a meal complete with Charro Beans, a Tortilla, and Coffee or Iced Tea. I always leave full and happy.

    This place was horrible . I should have known. Not only is it very dated , their food was horrible . My picadillo looked like old meat or Alpo. I should have just walked out , but I tried it . I ended up eating the rice and tortilla and a little bit of salad they put on the plate . I didn't complain because I was by myself and I just didn't want to start trouble . I don't recommended and I will never go back .

    Definitely one of Harlingen's best breakfast spots. The food comes out piping hot and fresh, and at such reasonable prices, what's not to love?

    Or if you're in the mood for lunch at 10am (like I sometimes am) then go right ahead and get your lunch on! Their enchiladas and crunchy tacos are excellent, and the tortillas are ginormous and home-made.

    The service is always great, the staff members are attentive and courteous. My cup of iced tea was never more than half-way empty. Will definitely be returning!

    Breakfast at Alicia's  great coffee, food fantastic, very Mex home style. Clean place.  Load Mexican music along with people conversation too much. Music was great if I was at Zumba!! Fast service.

    Authentic hole in the wall Mexican restaurant.  Do not expect to be impressed by the conditions there but food is tasty and its cheap.
